Release Time:2024-08-01
A Turkish photovoltaic power plant, equipped with Talesun facilities, will soon be connected to the grid. Located in the Kahramanmaraş Province of Türkiye, this project has an installed capacity of 5MWp, applying Talesun TOPCon series large-format high-efficiency modules. It will achieve efficient, stable and reliable power output, and inject strong momentum into the local green energy transformation.
Türkiye boasts abundant sunshine resources, which provide unique natural conditions for the development of the photovoltaic industry. Under the guidance of the carbon neutrality goal, the Turkish government has paid higher attention to the energy transition. In the field of renewable energy power generation, the photovoltaic power has attracted much attention for its high economy.
It is estimated that the project will generate more than 7 million KWH of electricity annually, bringing over 14 million lira to the local revenue each year (the power rate is charged at 2 lira per KWH). It will also reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 130,000 tons (calculated on a 30-year life cycle). The project will not only meet the huge local demand for green energy, but also promote the sustainable development of the local economy. At the same time, it will make positive contributions to the optimization of Türkiye’s energy structure and environmental protection.
The successful completion of this project marks another milestone in Talesun’s global strategy. Looking ahead, the company will continue to work with its global partners in an open mind and pragmatic way to jointly create a better future of green energy.
